2024 - 2025 School Year

President

Stephanie Thomas

Hey Bobcat Nation!  I'm Stephanie Thomas, a Paloma Creek resident since 2018 and apart of the Bell community for the past five years. With both sons now attending Bell – one in 4th grade and the other starting Kindergarten. I am excited and ready to take on the role of PTA President.

While I am feeling a mix of emotions about this new chapter, I am surrounded by an amazing team ready to make this school year unforgettable. My primary goal is to foster a stronger connection between the school  and our community, particularly involving more dads and male figures.

If you have ideas on how to get more involved or see a need that needs filling, please do not hesitate to reach out to our board. Your contributions are invaluable to creating a thriving school environment for all our children.

VP Membership

Alex Malone

Hi, my name is Alexandrea Malone and I have been a proud Bobcat mom since 2019. I have a beautiful daughter named Addison and I am currently a college student majoring in film and theater. I'm excited and honored to represent Bell.

vp fundraising

Our PTA does a lot more than fundraising, but let's face it, without fundraising, we wouldn't be able to do much. We're seeking an upbeat, detail-oriented parent to coordinate our fundraising efforts this year. Interested? Reach out! We would love to have you!

Secretary

Sandi Guin

My name is Sandi Guin and this is my fifth year as a member of the Bell Elementary PTA, and fourth year on the Board.  I will be serving on the Board as secretary this year.  I will have all three of my kiddos attending Bell this year.  Aiden will be starting 4th grade while Harper and Emma will be attending Pre-K.  I have worked for Denton ISD for over sixteen years in different accounting capacities within our Business Office.  I love being part of the PTA to stay connected to the school and be better able to form relationships with the teachers and staff.

Treasurer

Amanda Thomas

Amanda Thomas is excited to be the newly appointed Treasurer of the Bell Elementary PTA. She has two children in Denton ISD Schools. Her daughter, Sadie, was at Bell Elementary from Kindergarten to 5th grade, and will be a Navo Panther next year. Her son, Jude, will be going into 2nd grade at Bell.  She has been a Bell PTA member for years, but this will be her first time on the board.

Outside of being a mom, chauffeur, and family project manager, she spends her day being the Senior Account Director at an advertising agency called We Are Alexander. She has been managing the Keurig Dr Pepper account (previously Dr Pepper Snapple Group), for 14 years and counting. In her free time, she loves to read, watch movies, play games of all sorts (board, card, video), travel, take care of her puppy and plants, go to concerts, and plan her next Disney Trip. She loves being part of the Bell Family and is excited to support the PTA in the 2024-2025 school year.

Melanie Stanford

Hello! I’m Melanie Stanford and my family has lived in Paloma Creek since 2018. I have daughters in 2nd and 4th grades here at Bell and I am hoping to be a substitute teacher here this fall. Volunteer/ room Parent Coordinator

Azure Wade

Hello! My name is Azure Wade and I will be the Volunteer and Room Parent Coordinator for the Bell PTA this year. I also maintain our Bell PTA website. I along with my husband have four children, with three daughters, Zuri in 3rd, Dallas in 2nd and Cyan in Kinder, currently at Bell. I started volunteering after walking by our Holiday Shop one year while having lunch with my girls at school. That lead to me joining the PTA and I have been here since! I love being involved with my children's education and connecting with the teachers, students and community who all help to shape my children's school years. I'm so excited for this school year and to make some great memories along the way!

HOLIDAY SHOP & yearbook

Monae Mays

Hey there, Bell Bobcats! My name is Monae Mays and I will be your Holiday Shop/Yearbook Chair for this year! My family and I relocated to Texas in 2020, as I am originally from Washington, DC. I am a mom to two little bobcats, Aria-Naveah in the 1st grade and Evan-Christopher in PreK. From 2021-2023, I took advantage of the multiple volunteer opportunities that our school offers for our community/parents to get involved. While doing that, I realized that it brought joy to my heart from seeing the smiling faces at our events. I love that we are able to provide memorable experiences for our students, parents and staff members! Last year, I decided to dedicate my skills and abilities to take on a more designated role as the PTA's Holiday Shop Chair. I am beyond thrilled to have the opportunity to utilize my gifts yet again this year to effectively interact with our Bell family; creating an exciting and welcoming environment for all! I cannot wait to see the greatness that our school will exude this year! Let's go Bobcats!

COMMUNICATIONS

Elizabeth Durham

Hello Bell Community! I am excited to serve as your 2024-2025 PTA Communications Chair! My goal is to keep you all up to speed with the many amazing things the PTA has in store for us. I am a Texas native and my husband and I have lived in Paloma Creek since 2014. Our 3rd grade and kindergarten boys both attend Bell. In addition to serving on the PTA Board, I work full-time at a local University and am active within my Sorority. I always enjoy a good meal and spending time with friends and family. I consider myself an ambivert (mix between introvert and extrovert), but I do my best to engage with others when I’m out and about. Cheers to a great year!

My husband Jeremy Cobos is a cdl driver and travels all around the world. I am a stay at home mom which is the best job to me. I love being involved in my kids lives and school. Being apart of the PTA and just involved in my son’s school overall has been beneficial for me and him. I enjoy going to all his field trips, all his school parties and the smile on his face is worth it all. My hobbies are movie nights with my family and family drawing time. We are all great drawers in my family especially my husband who is also a tattoo artist. Being part of the PTA isn’t just about doing extra for the school it’s to help the students and community and we make great friends along the way too.

Hi, I’m Andrea and am this year’s Community Engagement Coordinator at Bell! I have been a PTA member for over 7 years and have an 11-year-old son who attended Bell from K-5! With my son now moving on to middle school, I hope to help connect our school communities on the 380 corridor with my various positions on PTAs in the district.
